The importance of tourism investment in increasing the volume of tourism movement "Case study in the holy city of Karbala

The historical record of the holy city of Karbala during ancient periods and up to the present time, witnessed an increasing tourist movement during those periods to visit the shrine of Imam Hussein and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon them. In addition to other holy sites and places, it is considered one of the most important centers of religious tourism in the world in general and the Islamic world in particular. It is also a tourist city due to its diverse and unique archaeological and natural attractions to be diverse and distinct tourist landmarks. Which makes it a promising tourist center in light of the diversity of available capabilities and makes it a center of attraction for investors and capital. Tourism investment has sought to increase the volume of this movement. Given the functional role of tourism investment through the positive impact it plays in the local economy, by increasing the volume of domestic and foreign tourism, and given the contribution of these investments to revitalizing the local economy of the geographical locations in which they appear and then their positive role in increasing the value of the gross domestic product. The researcher raised the following main question: Does tourism investment in the holy city of Karbala represent a major element in increasing the volume of tourism movement heading to this city?.

Efficiency Of Kinesiotherapy In Rehabilitation Of Recurrent Obstructive Bronchitis In Post-Covid-19

The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of kinesiotherapy in the rehabilitation of children with recurrent obstructive bronchitis (ROB) who had COVID-19 by determining spirometric indicators. The subjects were children aged 7 to 15 years with recurrent obstructive bronchitis, and the initial indicators of their external respiratory function (FER) were determined during the exacerbation period. In the experimental group, rehabilitation measures included the effective integration of kinesiotherapy (KT). A comparative study of the respiratory function in children with recurrent obstructive bronchitis after a six-month course of kinesiotherapy demonstrated the positive effectiveness of the method: an increase in the number of children with standard values of VC from 76.4% to 98.7%, FVC from 51.4% to 82.3%, FEV1 from 52.3% to 93.1%, IT from 64.5% to 89%, POS from 61.2% to 94.1%, MOS-75 from 65.9% to 92.2%, and MVL on average from 27.2 L to 46.3 L was observed. In children with ROB, there was a decrease in the number of hospitalizations, the frequency of recurrent bronchial obstruction, and the duration of exacerbations; doses of medications were reduced or discontinued during the recovery period. The results showed that the use of kinesiotherapy in patients with ROB increases the functional capabilities of the respiratory system and has a positive effect on rehabilitation

The study shows that the brand plays a pivotal role in enhancing the tourist attractiveness of luxury hotels, as it reflects the quality of services and contributes to building customer confidence. The brand is a strategic tool with a significant impact on tourism performance. The study confirms the importance of investing in brand building as a means of attracting customers and enhancing their loyalty, which supports the sustainable growth of luxury hotels. The statistical results showed that participants evaluate the brand positively, with averages ranging between 3.92 and 4.36, reflecting the importance of the brand in tourists’ decisions. Descriptive statistics show that tourists associate brands with quality of service and distinctive lodging experiences, which are decisive factors in their choice of destination. They also showed that while brand perception is an independent factor influencing tourists' decisions, it needs to be supported by other factors such as reputation and customer experience to improve its overall impact. The results showed that a strong brand reinforces tourists' decision-making, especially when it is in line with their expectations regarding service quality. The importance of focusing on enhancing the hotel experience by providing innovative and exceptional service is another key finding of the study.
